The Key Fact Statement (KFS) as Your Shield: Under RBI fair practices standards, every borrower must be given a standardized Key Fact Statement (KFS) in simple language prior to loan agreement signing. The KFS summarizes the entire loan on one clear sheet: the exact sanctioned loan amount, the net disbursal amount credited to your bank account, the Annual Percentage Rate (APR), total interest payable, processing fees, insurance charges, and penal rates.

02

Net Disbursal vs Sanctioned Amount: Always check the net amount actually disbursed into your bank account versus the principal amount on the sanction letter. Approved processing fees, stamp duty, or insurance premiums (if opted for) must be explicitly itemized in the KFS. Beware of informal lenders who deduct large undisclosed upfront commissions or 'file charges'—at Rinsetu, all legitimate deductions are documented transparently.

03

Understanding the Annual Percentage Rate (APR): The APR represents the true total annual cost of borrowing, factoring in not just the headline interest rate, but also upfront processing fees and compounding frequency. Comparing APRs is the only reliable way to measure whether a loan is genuinely affordable compared to alternative credit options.

04

The Member Passbook & Schedule of Repayments: Your loan card or passbook tracks every single payment, itemizing how much of each installment reduces the loan principal and how much covers interest. Retaining your passbook and checking the decreasing principal balance ensures that you are building an impeccable credit track record that unlocks higher credit limits for future business expansion.

05

Safe Archival & Zero Middlemen Rule: Keep all physical agreements, KFS copies, and payment transaction SMS records in a dedicated waterproof file inside your shop. Never deal with third-party brokers, middlemen, or unauthorized agents who demand advance cash fees for loan sanctions. All formal Rinsetu approvals are handled exclusively through verified company branches.
